Quotes and Estimates
Quotes are based on the information available at the time, including photos, measurements, plans, site access, tile selection, surface condition and the scope of work discussed.
A quote may change if:
The actual site condition is different from the information provided
Extra preparation or repair work is required
Hidden damage, water damage, rot, mould or structural issues are discovered
The customer changes the scope, tile layout, tile size, tile type, grout colour or design
Additional materials or labour are required
Other trades delay or affect the work
Access, parking, loading or site conditions are different from what was advised
Tiles or materials supplied by the customer are unsuitable, damaged or insufficient
Where practical, Tile Soultion will discuss extra work or changes with the customer before proceeding.

Bookings and Scheduling
Bookings are subject to availability, weather, material supply, site access, drying times, other trades and unexpected site conditions.
We will make reasonable efforts to attend and complete work within the agreed timeframe. However, dates and timeframes may change due to delays outside our control.
Tile Soultion is not responsible for delays caused by weather, supplier delays, customer delays, unavailable tiles, other trades, building defects, access issues or unexpected site conditions.

Customer Responsibilities
The customer must provide accurate information about the job, including measurements, photos, access details, site conditions and any known issues.
The customer is responsible for:
Providing safe and reasonable access to the work area
Ensuring electricity, water and parking are available where required
Removing personal items from the work area
Confirming tile selection, grout colour, trim colour and layout before installation
Ensuring customer-supplied tiles and materials are correct and available in sufficient quantity
Informing Tile Soultion of any known leaks, waterproofing issues, structural issues or previous repair work
Keeping children, pets and unauthorised persons away from the work area
Following drying time, curing time and maintenance instructions after completion

Customer-Supplied Tiles and Materials
If the customer supplies tiles, grout, trims, adhesives, waterproofing products or other materials, the customer is responsible for ensuring those materials are suitable, correct, available in enough quantity and free from visible defects before installation.
Tile Soultion is not responsible for defects, colour variation, size variation, shade variation, warping, breakage, shortage or suitability issues in customer-supplied materials.
Extra charges may apply if delays or extra labour are caused by unsuitable, damaged, incorrect or insufficient customer-supplied materials.

Changes to Scope
Any changes requested after a quote has been accepted may affect the price, timeframe and material requirements.
Changes may include:
Different tile size or tile type
Different grout colour
Different tile layout or pattern
Additional areas to be tiled
Extra waterproofing
Extra repairs
Extra preparation
Tile removal
Substrate repair
Additional trims, silicone or finishing work
Tile Soultion may provide a revised quote or variation price before carrying out additional work.

Payments
Payment terms will be stated on the quote, invoice or agreed directly with the customer.
The customer agrees to pay all amounts due by the due date.
Tile Soultion may pause, delay or stop work if payment is not made according to the agreed payment terms.
Late payment may result in follow-up costs, debt recovery costs or other reasonable costs where permitted by law.

Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact Tile Soultion as soon as possible.
If work has not started and no costs have been incurred, there may be no cancellation fee.
If materials have been ordered, preparation time has been spent, labour has been booked, subcontractors have been arranged, or other costs have already been incurred, Tile Soultion may charge reasonable costs before any refund or cancellation adjustment is considered.

Refunds and Service Issues
Tile Soultion provides trade services, not standard retail products. Product return rules such as returning unused items in original packaging generally do not apply to our services.
If you believe there is an issue with our workmanship, you must contact Tile Soultion as soon as possible and provide photos, videos, the job address or suburb, invoice details and a clear description of the issue.
Where a workmanship issue is confirmed and relates to work completed by Tile Soultion, we may offer an appropriate remedy, such as repair, rectification, redoing part of the work, partial refund or another suitable solution depending on the circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
Where Australian Consumer Law applies, services must be provided with due care and skill, be fit for any stated purpose, and be provided within a reasonable time where no time is agreed.
If a service does not meet the consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy depending on the nature of the issue.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

What Is Not Covered
Tile Soultion is not responsible for problems caused by:
Customer-supplied tiles or materials that are defective, unsuitable, inconsistent, damaged or insufficient
Existing structural movement, wall movement, floor movement or building defects
Water damage, mould, rot or substrate problems hidden before work starts
Leaks caused by plumbing, roofing, windows, balconies, structural defects or other trades
Damage caused by misuse, impact, harsh cleaning products or lack of maintenance
Changes requested by the customer after work has started
Normal wear and tear
Pre-existing issues outside the agreed scope of work
Work completed by other trades or previous contractors
Failure to follow care, drying time or maintenance instructions
Weather, moisture, movement or conditions outside our control

Drying Times and Aftercare
Some products, including adhesives, grout, silicone, waterproofing membranes and bedding materials, require drying or curing time.
The customer must not use, wet, walk on or disturb the tiled area until the recommended drying or curing time has passed.
Tile Soultion is not responsible for damage caused by early use, water exposure, cleaning, impact or interference before products have properly cured.
